Less than Brief...

So... many of you know that I am giving up the computer for lent... so this may be my last post in a long time, that or I'll keep you updated on Sundays :)... Now, as a last standing question for a while, I'd like to ask everyone what my family and I were discussing about while eating some nice Italian food...

When someone says "less than brief"... is it supposed to mean???
A. Very long
B. Very short
C. Its just a stupid phrase

I know... its short, but that's all for now!

My Music Career...

Well today I've gotten up to a late start so I've been lazy about school and just did some story writing (short story), and some music playing. I was working out some solos or whatever that could go along with the chords of the song when I discovered a tune of a bass part that REALLY matched to that of All American Rejects' "Dance Inside".... I got so scared that I might've just found the same chords to a song and altered it a little...I just ran downstairs (maybe talking a few words of scandal to myself :-o ) , picked up my ipod, ran upstairs, got my headphones that can play BLARING music for headphones, put them on, and listened to the song. Well I was in luck in one way... the song, "Dance Inside" was power chords, but the same variety (fingering) of chords could be played (not the exact chords in sound, the Dance Inside chords are one note lower). I was still pretty scared, until I noticed that the tune to singing was completely different, the solo was different, drums... Ethan would need to know about that, but if I did the bass the certain way, it would sound exactly (except in a different key) the same (only the bass). Basically... you need to know guitar about what I'm talking about, unless I actually explained it well for once! All I could say is that it was a close call...

Compliments to A Weird Al Website (dont sue me)

Ok well I copied and pasted this sucker... but this has to be one of my favorite songs. Just lets not hope this stuff will really happen to us :-o

Aquarius There's travel in your future when your tongue freezes to the back of a speeding bus Fill that void in your pathetic life by playing Whack-A-Mole seventeen hours a day

Pisces Try to avoid any Virgos or Leos with the Ebola virus You are the true Lord of the Dance, no matter what those idiots at work say

Aries The look on your face will be priceless when you find that forty pound watermelon in your colon Trade toothbrushes with an albino dwarf, then give a hickey to Meryl Streep

Taurus You will never find true happiness - what you gonna do, cry about it? The stars predict tomorrow you'll wake up, do a bunch of stuff, and then go back to sleep

Gemini Your birthday party will be ruined once again by your explosive flatulence Your love life will run into trouble when your fiance hurls a javelin through your chest

Cancer The position of Jupiter says you should spend the rest of the week face down in the mud Try not to shove a roll of duct tape up your nose while taking your driver's test

Leo Now is not a good time to photocopy your butt and staple it to your boss's face, oh no Eat a bucket of tuna-flavored pudding, then wash it down with a gallon of strawberry Quik

Virgo All Virgos are extremely friendly and intelligent - except for you Expect a big surprise today when you wind up with your head impaled on a stick

Now you may find it inconceivable or at the very least a bit unlikely that the relative position of the planets and the stars could have a special deep significance or meaning that exclusively applies to only you, but let me give you my assurance that these forcasts and predictions are all based on solid, scientific, documented evidence, so you would have to be some kind of moron not to reaize that every single one of the is absolutely true.Where was I?

Libra A big promotion is just around the corner for someone much more talented that you Laughter is the very best medicine, remember that when your appendix bursts next week

Scorpio Get ready for an unexpected trip when you fall screaming from an open window Work a little harder on improving your low self-esteem, you stupid freak

Sagittarius All your friends are laughing behind your back (kill them) Take down all those naked pictures of Ernest Borgnine you've got hanging in your den

Capricorn The stars say that you're an exciting and wonderful person, but you know they're lying If I were you, I'd lock my doors and windows and never never never never never leave my house again

One thing though... I got rid of the main part saying "Thats your horoscope for today".

Damien (who is laughing behind my back?!)

Some News... but I need an update

Basically the news is this ,... we have a new dog! Her name is Bibi (well actually we're still debating on the name), after Bibiana (or short for it). She's basically a cool dog, but it'd be nice if we can somehow muffle her high pitched yapping... it'd be for the better... plus one for the cats!

Walkie Talkie Man

You know... usually it's hard to catch a firework in the middle of the night with a camera (I was just guessing too), but luckily I caught this beauty! It may be a little blurry and all that, but I think that adds to the effect. Anyways, whats everyone's New Year's resolution?

I Win!

I win this year! Haha let me tell ya, nobody can score a record on New Year's Day like I can (Pacific Time Zone, in the least). As we had the countdown for the new year, 200- what was it? Oh yeah, 2006 I had been counting down while doing a handstand (or head stand propped against a wall, whichever cool way you prefer) and holding a kazoo thing in my mouth. So in the end, I was either the first person in 2006 (Pacific Time Zone, in the least) to do the head/handstand, or I was tied with whoever was cool enough to do it. Happy New Year!

War!

Its not too often a pup like Leo catches the first known gray squirrel in our residence (of course, with some help). But he did! It all started around Thanksgiving (cant remember when exactly)when I heard some crazy barking, I go and look out the window and there is Leo barking at a bush, so I thought to myself "what kind of dog barks at a bush?" but then I saw a gray squirrel sneak right behind him! It seemed fat and lazy because it was going slow, but Leo didn't notice; I went outside, pulled Leo over the opposite way (which he didn't enjoy, thinking the squirrel was somewhere else). In the end, he saw the squirrel and chased it back and forth across the house (scaring the cats who got in his way and later got jealous) and he finally caught the squirrel, which he enjoys unto this day *blegh*.

Fog

Drifting silently, the fog wafted in
By the awesome power, of the man-made wind
It came in swift, it came in strong
It was hard to see beyond three feet long
A shuffle was heard, but nothing was seen
Save for that white mist that hid the scene
It made my eyes water, my throat made a start
It reminded me of the time someone ripped cheese apart
I knew there was silence when those torches came in
Bringing light to the darkness within
I could sit by the lake, I could take a morning jog
But nothing has ever been worse than that St. Stephen's Fog

Fruitloops

(Top: St. Francis of Assisi's Chapel. Bottom: A castle in Assisi, sorry for not more pictures, its not letting me do any pictures but these two and another...)
I served A2 for Vespers the other day (Sunday, to be exact), and it was weird... I think because I messed up a bit (only a bit), but I was told by Paul that I did good for my first time. But then I got to thinking, aren't all first-timers good on their first try??? Then I got to thinking again, if all first-timers, no matter how bad, are told they are good for their first time, how low is the expectancy for first-timers??? This is too much for me...

Family?

Well, obviously, Jonathan lost here in Arm Wrestling... Here we also are posing for quite a couple of cameras with our guide, Mary. And Desi I think said something scandalous!

Vaticano

Here is the view from the top of the Vatican, you can see Vatican Square, the Vatican Garden and Grounds in these pictures, I hope you enjoy them! (It was really crowded to get a good pic ;) )

Top: Underneath the Roman Columns of Assisi City Hall ( I think)
Middle: Gel, who looks too preoccupied for the camera while at St. Peter's
Bottom: Us looking for Desiree and the rest of the tour ;) (they were alongside us, but we couldnt help but start looking)

Here is our tour group on the last night in Europe (for most of us, that is). We were all dining on great food with some "background music" by a few singers singing some great hits. And in the end there were a few people who had danced with these singers. In the first picture, you can see Jason, the only other boy dancing with the lady, while Catherine (middle) and Alida (bottom) had also enjoyed a good dance!

Here is St. Maria di Fiore in Florence (I like to say Firenze). This was once the tallest church in the world, until of course, St. Peter's came along. Inside I cant recall why but it was seemingly empty, nothing about its interior was so captivating or anything, but the outside... that was a beauty of a basilica. Just the walls seemed 15 or more feet high. As you can see, it was currently under renovation or something like that :D.

I Didn't Know Where to Start!

Ahh yes! The Wednesday Blessings on all those pilgrims and passerbys alike! We kicked off our last Wednesday in Europe getting to the Vatican and waiting for Pope Benedict XVI, who came on a sweet white jeep. It was really hard getting pictures of him, so lets play "where's the pope?" It was really really crowded up there, but we managed to get some pretty nice seats. And it was awesome to see all those different flags and banners waving to and fro for the pope to see.

Ciao

So here are some pics. For the viewers eyes, I had only put up an iota of the pictures so there wont be too much problem viewing 167 pictures. I first started off with the theme: "Serving". As you can tell, its about... nevermind, you get the point. We served in so many great places, and my favorites were by far (for serving) St. Catherine of Sienna's (the nuns allowed us to serve on the high altar right beneath the cross that brought her stigmata ((but no pictures))) and St. Paul's (well he is my patron saint after all, but seriously, we went into a chapel that was only intended for Latin Mass and it was so beautiful! ((No Pictures though))).

Uh huh, I'm a serving boy

Yes yes... Here we are taking group photos with Fr. Rizzo (we took so many with so many different pics my mouth started twitching into an angry frown), I dont see one with Jason ( another server) though... ahh yes and there is the infamous cell that we had said mass for, this cell I think was meant for one, but we managed Mass for 30 people (thank God there were no claustrophobic), those Assisians dont like us :(.

This better Work for Bean's Sake

Ahh yes, so here we are again serving with Father Rizzo at the one of the churches containing a Eucharistic Miracle (see the sermon pic, where we are sitting in front of it)
