Fog

Drifting silently, the fog wafted in
By the awesome power, of the man-made wind
It came in swift, it came in strong
It was hard to see beyond three feet long
A shuffle was heard, but nothing was seen
Save for that white mist that hid the scene
It made my eyes water, my throat made a start
It reminded me of the time someone ripped cheese apart
I knew there was silence when those torches came in
Bringing light to the darkness within
I could sit by the lake, I could take a morning jog
But nothing has ever been worse than that St. Stephen's Fog

Ok what I want is for everyone to post a few verses about how fog feels to you (or whatever... yeah). The fog in this poem is made on account of the amount of "fog" in St. Stephen's on a High Mass. :p

I actually like it when the church is filled with incense. Aside from the fact that you can't see anything and it's hard to breath....but it looks cool....in a way...

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I wonder, weak and weary...oh...wait...that's Edgar Alan Poe!

Hey there is nothing wrong with it, just that it was "foggy"

Ya know what's foggy? My goggles in swimming!

I hate it when that happens, I put on some goggles (which I do more rarely), and I see clearly, then 2 minutes later I'm wiping them for the tenth time!!! I hate them now...

Hmm.....foggy!!! Oh, you ain't seen nought yet. One of these days we're gonna have a "smoking contest"; all the thurifers (sp) are gonna get all the incensers, coal, incense and give you the foggiest incense you'll ever see.

I was only hoping.

Ha, I noticed when you posted after Cat's comment, you said, "Hey there is nothing wrong with it, just that it was "foggy"." Well in your poem, you said, "But nothing has ever been worse than that St. Stephen's Fog." So what do you mean? And I can't believe you couldn't find anything more worse than incense!

Its a poem/joke/playaroundthing/waytokeepmyboredomlevellow/waytohavefun.

So technically, I enjoyed the incense, but when I have to make a poem about how much it is, I have to make it sound like alot, in this case "worse" is meant to be the thickest fog ever found...

Smack Daddy to the Punk (dont be offended, its one of my liners I make up on the top of my head)!!! :p
