Ok everyone. I've got news, Kat is gone; the reign of terror (or arguments, at least) is over for a couple of months!!! So it's time to party, we're doing it at the Dugyons* (they thought of the idea) on Friday* the 19th* at 7 PM* if you want to skip Youth Group.** Whoever is coming, bring a bottle of whiskey if you can. I'll bring the rest of the good stuff (I mean, the alcohol)* while the Dugyons supply us with the food*. It's going* to be a memorable for us all and it'll be the first happy party we've had in ages*! Hope to see you all there!

What?!?! Gone did you say?? Good thing those were lies because I'd have to kill you had they not been. ;-) as for reign of terror (and arguments)...we'd have to wait til you leave for that to end....
Oh my Kat....anyways I guess we will just have to put on a party while Kats gone :-D. Who's up for it? I know I am ;-D
Ooo! A party!! I wanna come! I'm totally up for it! ;-)
No...you cant be invited Kat, otherwise the party wouldnt be any fun!!! I mean, you've already learned German so what can you say the proves that you're not acting like one too (all strict and Nazi-like)??? You just dont belong here anymore. We'll party for you though, so that you have a happy life being...non-happy ;-) And speaking of arguments, I havent started one have I?
Damien, you just did. First...I think the germans are much more friendly than you are at the present moment!! Seriously though, they're really, really nice. (especially.....you know Elaine ;-D) But really, everyone's incredibly polite. The whole thing about germans being strict and whatnot is probably prejudice. I mean, I haven't met any Nazi-like person yet. (and I have met a lot of people already) And if you are an example of an American than I would gladly stay in Germany. ;-)
....but I think I am glad to get away from your sarcasm for a little bit.... :-D
I think you still see much of it on the blogs. But not from me anyways :-D. Catherine, don't get used to those Germans, it's a trick ;-D. Seriously though, I am glad that so far you are getting along with those Germans and not making a bad name for us Americans (As Damien would do).
*Holding a cheeseburger to my big fat face and typing with one hand* What's wrong with us Americans?! Sheesh Kat's already doing what the GErmans do everyday, they criticize us!! This is not good...mmm actually no this cheeseburger is VERY good. But the rest is not good. And Kat, I wasnt starting the argument. I was trying to end yours saying "as for reign of terror (and arguments)...we'd ahve to wait til(forgot the l ;) ) you leave for that to end..." with some of my own reasoning :-D I think the whole American's being mean and prejudice is just a stereotype from those Germans
Look who's pointing at people for criticizing!! I did not forget the "l"....and if picking on people's misspellings is what is going on now then I suggest you check on your own before you criticize others first....you misspelled "ahve" (It's have) And nothing's wrong with americans (I'm not a racist like you) I happen to be an american and am totally proud of it..
No you see...till is with two l's because you cant completely have the l sound in that word unless there are two l's...Now when you mix it with another syllable, say...un- then you can have one l. Sadly though you see people doing the one l at fast food restaurants...And I aint no critic...I'm just stereotype ;-) (notice how I'm stereotype to myself with the cheeseburger bit).
Haha you're completely German now...I can tell because you're using the GErman's technique at changing the subject, but no! Since you tried to escape the subject I guess I just one the argument that you started :-p
Oh, and is it have? I thought it was ahve...hmm I thank you (like a true American should) for your pointing out my faults so I dont make a fool of myself next time. Thanks
O my gosh.....but yet again your sense of humor makes me forget all about the argument at hand and I guess I'll have to forgive your Mexican/Irish love of arguing (as you call it) :-D
Don't forget, Fr. Lebel is leaving of Monday the 22nd. Someone needs to post a "Bon Voyage" thingy for him.
Is he leaving for good? I didnt even know that he was leaving...
No not for good. Just about two weeks in France. He's also doing the Chartres (sp) Pilgrimage.
I would be very upset if he did leave for good...But he's not so theres no need to worry :-D
Sheesh dont frighten me like that ;) Yeah it would be disappointing if he left already...
Yeah...I think it's time for some "Steph Teig Words of Wisdom"
Germans are nice people...I should know, I'm about 60% German, I have family in Germany, and lots of friends from Germany. The stereotype that all Germans are strict is clearly not true. Some are, yes, but so are some Americans. They do talk some smack about us (being fat and all) but in all honesty, we do it about them too. So why don't we set our differences aside and go sing a song together? Huh?
Wow...that sounded profound...

Yesss!! Rock on Steph!! (Can't help thinking "In your face, Damien! ;->) I'm glad to know I am not alone in my opinion...
2 months....just 2 months ;-D
Well of course you're not!!! Have you met Steph??? She has no say in anything because she's as strict as anything (at least from what I gathered, especially through her "My Little World...Dictator?" blog) ;-) And the fact that you're not alone...I'm just taking someone else's point of view (American's) Haha in ALL of your faces!!! Yes, even in yours too, Shan :-D
Pshh..."americans" point of view, huh? You must be a one-of-a-kind-american...
don't worry Shan, I'll be back before you know it!!! :-P
Actually...I have an example of how "strict and mean" germans are over here. This morning my uncle sent me to Deniz Kebap (a little diner right next to our house) to get some french fries. While I was waiting for them to finish cooking he (Deniz, he owns the place) gave me a free drinks and all! (plus he bought some flowers for my aunt and the new baby) Don't you think that if he were "strict" he would have charged me for the drinks? And if he were mean he wouldn't have bought the flowers for my aunt, would he?? (remember, this is just one example...)
Clearly, Damien doesn't know what he's talking about. First of all, you haven't met me either, Damien, so don't try to play that card against others. Secondly, Germans are cool people. They aren't all strict...in fact it's quite the opposite. When I was in Germany, everyone was actually very laid back. The only strict germans are those who work in the castles and won't let you touch or take pictures of anything, but that's understandable cuz they're trying to preserve their history. As you can hopefully see, I'm not taking sides here, I'm just pointing out the facts. I am so wise, you should listen to me.
~Steph
Dang... Germans are nice dudes it sounds. Not strict.
so ah whens the party
Kat...obviously they have you brainwashed..next week you're going to be saying you dont want to come back...I just know it. Steph...you're just a hoser for striking my sarcasm with sarcasm!!! :-p
what party??
My party that you all missed cuz you were too busy having some pointless arguement about whether or not Germans are strict or not. Clearly the party was awesome and the food was great!
~Steph
No they didn't miss the party. I think it will be i n either June or July...;-)
But they missed MY party! Which was on Sunday! And I'm pretty sure the Crane's were thinkin' about coming...but they didn't!!!!!!!!!!!
~Steph
I dont think our parents gave it much thought.........I know Jonathan was invited to it though :D
Yeah, he was...and so were you....and Desi...and Royce....and Lance....and your parents....and none of you came!!!!!!!!
