Yeah, so today my cousin came over, which is pretty tight. She rarely comes over and it's good to see some family. I have not yet started reading Harry Potter book 6, but rather refreshing up to the sixth book from book three. I'm still Catholic though so don't you guys worry about a thing. Now here's my question of the year.
What would you say is the most interesting thing you read school wise. Now I don't mean a book that is really good, I mean something that you learned in school, say... science, math, history. Anything of that sort. I'll get to mine after some comments come.

I really liked/like my constructions in Geometry( I'm still doing a little bit of them). Even though most of you Geometry haters out there dont.
Learning anything about the French is interesting, mainly cuz they never get anything right and are always good for a laugh...I can safely say these things cuz I'm part French...(It takes a strong person to admit to that.)
I'd have to say physical science is by far my favorite subject. I just learned about sound waves, the speed of sound/light and electricity. Did you guys know that there is TIME DILATION which means that time goes slower when you are moving so fast? Say a guy went 99.5% the speed of light (180,000 km/s) and held a clock. We who were standing still would see the guy going at the speed of light for seconds, but when the guy going the speed of light looks at his clock, it has only one second! That means that time has to catch up with him. That's so cool...
Uhhhhhhh!!!! Damien time does not go slower when one is going faster. Time always will be at the same rate. It is the affect of going at nearly same rate as the light that gives you that feeling, and since you see light moving at a slower pace than normal. And if you don’t believe me then you will be believing that time travel is possible for there are faster things than light.

Oh wait, here you go in
Science of the Physical Creation in Christian Perspective, by Beka, handed out to Seton Homeschoolers, page 375 14.4
Time dilation. The first consequence of relativity (by Einstein mind you) is that from the perspective of an outside observer, time slows down for objects moving at high speeds. We can illustrate this unusual effect by imagining an astronaut, holding a clock, flying by us at 99.5% of the speed of light. If we could somehow see the numbers on the astronaut's clock we would find that (from our perspective) his clock was ticking extremely slowly. In fact, a clock in our hands would tick ten seconds for every second the astronaut's clock ticked. To the astronaut, however, his clock would seem to be running at a normal rate. There would not be anything wrong with either clock; the apparent discrepancy between the two is merely a consequence of the relative motion of the clocks. The apparent slowdown in time for a rapidly moving object is called time dilation .
Boom Baby!!! There you go Reed, and it's 99.5% of the speed of light, I don't think anything is faster than it. The 99.5% was also an example of how time dilation works Reed.
Wow, Einstein was a communist? Hmmm maybe someone needs to learn more science before stating the facts, as I'm sure many scientists have tried. I tell it like it is.
It's an example for those that didnt know. 99.5% is an example, not a true thing that happened to an astronaut. Yeah, if I can travel the speed of light, that would be so cool though, I can travel to the sun in minutes...
I found Charles Darwin's theory of evolution quite interesting. However, this is one of those science vs. religion topics, and I think we should stray from that, unless y'all want to debate.
Damien there are charged protons that go faster than the speed of light so are they going faster than time??? Or is time actuly set right. If a person ran all his life would that mean that he would die a couple seconds later than a man who did nothing all his life??? Where they born at the same time???
This requires way too much thought...i'm on summer vacation!
A man running all of his life would die quicker, I'd guess, because he'd end up getting a heart attack or something from running way too much. As with that further though, I don't think anybody can run fast enough to make time slow. As with protons, we don't know where we can go when they do that, as they are invisible parts atoms all around us. I'll repeat that nobody can reach the speed of light. But yeah, Steph is right about how this will go nowhere, if you guys think you can run fast enough with crystals to get ahead of time just because of time dilation, be my guest. I'll take a picture of you guys if I have the chance to catch you guys going so fast.
Heck yes!
